Betterware de México (Middleware)

Tech Lead to Betterware de México (consulting via Tacit Knowledge)

Architected, lead and part of the development team of a new Middleware for the company and a top critical solution that integrates the ERP and Warehouse operations using this new Middleware.

My contributions were from capturing requirements to implementing solutions in Websphere Commerce platform for some new features as well as troubleshooting, root cause analysis and solution proposals and implementations for existing issues.

Main technologies: Confluent Cloud (an Enterprise solution on top of Apache Kafka), .NET microservices and Kubernetes on GCP.

Pitney Bowes

Pitney Bowes hired Tacit Knowledge in order to contribute to their existing e-commerce platform (pb.com) by helping troubleshooting issues, stabilizing the system and designing and implementing new features.

My contributions were from capturing requirements to implementing solutions in Websphere Commerce platform for some new features as well as troubleshooting, root cause analysis and solution proposals and implementations for existing issues.

Tacit Knowledge was hired by Razer in order to do the replatform of their existing e-commerce site into SAP Commerce Cloud(CCV2).

I contributed as part of the development team in Guadalajara working closely with teams in USA, EMEA and APJ regions. My contributions were part of the design and implementation of features in the new SAP Commerce Cloud like integration of PayPal as payment provider, review of payment flows in general, a solution for financial reconciliation and functionalities for refunds and returns flows.

Ford

Regional Technical Leader(consulting via Tacit Knowledge)

Tacit Knowledge was hired by Ford in order to implement the backend services of the ecommerce platform for supporting Ford global operations. The delivery focused on supporting the reservation of the new Mustang March-E vehicle worldwide online. The solution involves multiple integrations with Ford systems, third party systems as well as solutions supporting different business needs on different countries.

My contributions were as part of the board of Architects of the project as well as tech lead of one of the regional team of developers. I also implemented different features for capturing reservations of the new Mustang March-E vehicle.

Tacit Knowledge was hired for Betterware de México in order to implement their ecommerce solution based on SAP Hybris ecommerce platform.

My contributions were as part of the core team that ran the Discovery phase for the greenfield project then acted as Tech Lead for the execution of the project.

My contributions were on the execution of the Peak Ready Performance solution which involved analysis, design, implementation and execution of performance plans to provide recommendations on their Hybris platform behaviour.

Converse (European expansion)

Tacit Knowledge was hired by Converse in order to expand the e-commerce platform to various European countries.

My contributions were on the POC, design, implementation and extension of the Demandware platform (now known as Salesforce Commerce Cloud) to support 6 more European countries on multi languages with different catalogs. Also I contributed by implementing new multi country merchandizing integrations, different payment methods and tools for easily support the European countries all as part of a Continuos Integration model.

Main technologies: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, a Salesforce proprietary Typescript-based language, REST APIs, Ruby language for a custom Data Hub, Chef cookbooks and Vagrant.

Balsam Brands

Converse hired Tacit Knowledge in order to replatform the e-commerce site converse.com within Demandware (now known as Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

My contributions were as the focal integrator of the DYO tool (Design Your Own) and member of the team that built a Hub system using Ruby technologies as well as the development of the e-commerce experience designing and implementing features in Demandware.

Main technologies: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (a.k.a. Demandware), a Demandware proprietary Typescript-based language, REST APIs, Ruby language for a custom Data Hub, Chef cookbooks and Vagrant.

AKQA

Tacit Knowledge was hired by AKQA in order to perform the migration of the infrastructure for a well-known sportswear brand microsite.

Developed web-based applications for tapes-based massive storage systems at IBM Mexico Software Lab. Assumed the leadership for adopting fresh web technologies into the solutions. Created a new,efficient and flexible middleware to consume microcode as backend for web applications.

Assumed the leadership to create web based software components for a common framework. Active promoter of the distribution of knowledge and collaboration between three teams of web-based applications.

Member of the Architecture team of the Communit-e(MR) platform. I designed, developed and tested a Business Process Management solution for easy integration with web applications.

Coffee Regulatory Council of Veracruz and LANIA A.C. worked together on the implementation of an electronic platform for specialty coffee growers in Veracruz, Mexico.
